Rome does not have a precise grid to it, because the modern city was built right on top of the ancient one, following the same urban landscape that Romans had!  Join me in this tour through the center of the city where we can read the blueprints of the ancient city in the baroque buildings and churches built by the Popes during their "kingdom"! We will see the main fountains and squares of Rome such as the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon...We will really get a feeling of how the city was transform by the Popes, leaving the power of the Roman Empire to shine under and inside these new marble creations.
